AME™ 1001 Workhorse epoxy vinyl ester resins provide improved toughness and performance over standard general purpose marine resins. Properties exceed Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Grade 2.

AME™ 5001 Premium epoxy vinyl ester resins deliver high-performance properties and excellent blister resistance. Properties meet ISO 122-15-1 small craft construction.

AME™ 6001 100% epoxy vinyl ester resins deliver superior blister resistance and toughness. Physical properties exceed ISO 122-15-1 Type A & DNV Grade 1 requirements.

AME™ 6441 Premium 100% epoxy vinyl ester resin. This multi-purpose resin provides high heat distortion temperature (245 F) and tremendous flexibility (4.5% elongation) allowing it to be used for highly cosmetic skin coats, infusion parts and tough durable tools.

 

AROTRAN™

Arotran™ resins and resin systems were designed for use in the automotive and heavy-truck markets for both Class A and structural-part applications.

These high-performance resins represent the strength of our working relationships with manufacturers and can be utilized in a wide range of processes, such as sheet molding compound (SMC), high-pressure resin-transfer molding, open-mold laminating, bulk-molding compounding (BMC) and infusion.

Among its many advantages, Arotran™ resin technology provides excellent mechanical properties, toughness and surface appearance. It is also important to note Arotran resins can provide a molded-in black color that eliminates the need for paint with excellent UV stability.

Arotran™ Class A SMC and structural resins utilize nano-composite materials to provide original equipment manufacturers and molders with lower-mass SMCs, which result in lighter parts. Parts made from Arotran™ Class A resins offer superior surface finish, reduction in paint pops, as well as excellent bond and paint adhesion properties. In addition, parts made from Arotran™ structural resins provide lower-mass structural parts with excellent mechanical and heat-resistance properties.

Arotran™ B-side resins are blended thermoset and thermoplastic-carrier resins that are combined with magnesium oxides to control thickening response.

 

DERAKANE™

Derakane Signia builds on our legacy polymer performance to deliver elevated results - less environmental impact, better quality and efficiency - all contained within an identifiable resin system

Used in corrosion-resistant fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) and coatings applications, Derakane™ resins are specified by engineers who need global consistency and proven performance. With high resistance to oxidizing acids, solvents and caustic, Derakane™ offers exceptional reliability, lower maintenance and extended service life. Our thickenable Derakane™ 700 series resins are used in SMC/BMC transportation applications, where high-mechanical properties and/or heat-resistance is required. Successful end-products include engine covers, oil pans, underbody heat/impact shields, pickup beds, battery enclosures, radiator supports, and engine cradles.
